Fire // Greta & Lucy 

Greta sat on the floor of the Slytherin common room, in front of a stack of burning books, with Lucy’s head in her lap, making the flames turn different colors. She stroked her friend’s hair and attempted to keep her warm. Lu still hadn’t been able to shake off the effects of her cold and it was driving Greta crazy. She hated seeing her best friend in this state. She turned the fire to a lovely shade of pink, Lucy’s favorite, and watched the girls face light up. She sat up and leaned into Greta’s side, pulling her fuzzy, warm blanket tighter around her, and smiled. Greta loved her smile. It was contagious.

“Alright, Lady Lucy, we need to find a way for you to shake that cold, so we can have some fun.” Greta said, rubbing Lucy’s arm in an attempt to warm them. Lucy’s entire body was ice cold and Greta wondered how her lips hadn’t turned blue yet. Sure, the fire and the blanket were providing some warmth, but even with it, Lucy was still chilled to the bone. Greta frowned as the younger girl shook and shivered under her arm. She wished she could take away Lucy’s cold. She’d gladly take it if it meant Lucy would feel better. She was just too damn adorable to be feeling so miserable.
